MORTON's STEAKHOUSE @ MANDARIN ORIENTAL HOTEL 210909

finally got the chance to try steak at this place, with kendrick. HAHA!
the steaks were SUPERBLY FANTASTIC!! and before you placed an order, one of the staff will give you a visual presentation of all the different types of steaks and their seafood

totally new experience for the both of us, cus usually at other places you would just look at the menu and placed an order. And guys i got to say, it's the MOST expensive steak i EVER ate in my ENTIRE life! their steak prices ranged from 80+ to 100+$. not only that, their mashed potato cost a freaking 16$!! we also ordered the Morton's Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake, 20+$, but it's really nice! hahaha

putting the expensive labels aside, their services were really good until every few minutes, the staffs would come to the table and ask if the food is alright and stuff like that..
food were really tasty and professional, when you ordered a MEDIUM done steak, it's really MEDIUM done(cooked on the outer layer, little pinkish in the middle of the meat)

the waiting time was pretty long, partly due to large crowd of customers eating. so picture time while waiting~

ambient was pretty good and cosy

it's really the best steak anywhere!!(in singapore at least)

one of the staff was over-helpful that she tried to help us take a picture when she saw us taking by ourselves, whoops!

Food time!!

this is the complimentary Onion Loaf they give for our appetizers
by the way, this is just a quarter of the whole damn loaf! (free!)

the super expensive Mashed Potato with bacon bits on top (16$)

My Double-Cut Mignon Filet (80+$)
it's very THICK, so i sliced it into half first, if not i'm gonna have a hard time cutting the meat!

Kendrick's Rib-Eye (80+$)
this is really how a medium done looks like, dont look at mine cus i asked for a little bloody oozing out from the inside, HAHA!

Morton's Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake, with french vanilla ice cream (20+$)

see the amount of thick chocolate oozing out of the cake!

thumb up for the steak!

totally in love with the steak (:

all in all, a very fantastic dinner, best steak i ever had and best price too.. LOL!

方大同 Khalil Fong - Wonderful Tonight

It's late in the evening
she's wondering what clothes to wear.
She puts on her make-up
and brushes her long blonde hair.
And then she asks me, Do I look all right?
And I say, Yes, you look wonderful tonight.

We go to a party and everyone turns to see
This beautiful lady that's walking around with me.
And then she asks me, Do you feel all right?
And I say, Yes, I feel wonderful tonight.

I feel wonderful because I see
The love light in your eyes.
And the wonder of it all
Is that you just don't realize how much I love you.

It's time to go home now and I've got an aching head,
So I give her the car keys and she helps me to bed.
And then I tell her, as I turn out the light,
I say, My darling, you were wonderful tonight.
Oh my darling, you were wonderful tonight.

110709 Saturday

came back a few hours ago from yensiang's 21st birthday party..
i have to say im really impressed with the decorations she had made in her house
from the clothlines of pictures meant for each of the guest to the balloons, to the food and to the small smiley clips, i'm like "wow! she did and planned all these?"

and her nieces were damn funny, i showed them the sucking bottle trick, and surprisingly two of them were able to suck the bottle, then they keep doing and doing for like almost an hour
and that evil sooyin asked them to try suck the bottle with the face and other parts of the body, and they really did try, lol!

pictures to come when i have most of it..

100709 Friday

anyways had Hog's Breathe at CHIJMES on friday after bookout with yy and yensiang..
was supposed to be at vivo, but the branch is under renovation now o:
after a few times at Hog's, i can conclude outbacks is BETTER

watched 20th century boys II at marina after our late dinner

well i didnt catch the first episode, so for the first part of the movie i had really no idea what's going on, but even yensiang who did watched the first one also wasnt really sure, haha..
the show was pretty long, like 2.5hrs but it's pretty interesting and thrilling especially that we still couldn't figure out who's "Friend"
so have to wait till 29th august to catch the third and last episode of this thriller D:

anyways AJH introduced me to this program called Picasa, it's a really helpful program
i can just select the pictures i want and it will just auto collage the pics for me
somemore you still can shuffle the pictures till you liked the arrangement of the collage

here's some example on what i meant..

not bad huh? haha so next time i won't be spending so much time collaging the pictures manually, woot~

kenny yeow ronghui

simply put, i'm just your average slacker who really can't get what he's trying to do with his life

the latest gossips

what about them?

dont be too surprised if you click and this drops down!

what's hot?
